Hey all!
Just wanted to thank everyone who's contributed to my project so far again. I really appreciate it, and I'm so close to my final goal!

Hey all! So you know that project I've been picking at for months now? The Hali to Cali one? Well it's sort of evolved. I'm planning on doing a whole book out of it, but I need funding in order to keep living!

So I decided to set the project up on rockethub.com.

Rockethub is basically a crowd funding site like kickstarter (but Canadians are welcome to join too)

Basically, if you pledge a bit of money to my project, I give you stuff! There are various reward levels (they're all listed on the site) but the first level is 5$ for a personalized doodle! 5$ is pretty cheap for a drawing, it can be whatever you want... a character you have, a wow character, whatever... just be warned that it's going to be SIMPLE so... it's not going to show all of your top tier gear perfectly rendered in beautiful realistic detail. It'll be a simple doodle! but it'll be fun, and you'll also get my love forever.

There are other levels too for people willing to pledge a bit higher.

Hey all!
So I discovered zazzle this weekend and have posted a couple things on there.
You can buy shark stickers from my sharks need <3 too drawing and little baby penguin with his ice cream stickers and buttons

the stickers are all 6.00$ for packs of the big ones
and i think the button is like 3.00$ or something

If there's anything on here that people think they'd be interested in seeing on a product, tell me! I don't really know what sells, I like stickers and buttons so I made stickers and buttons haha.

A friend of mine asked if I could show him some tricks in illustrator
So I'm livestreaming me doing a demo. I've got a project that I'm working on in illustrator, I'm going to ink, colour and add all the details all in illustrator. If you have questions, you can ask them and I'll answer and show you some tricks

Hey lads and ladies of DA!
So I am currently in the early parts of my cross-USA driving trip, final destination being Los Angeles.
I am going to be living there for three months, doing a workshop and attending the animation conference down there to do a bit of networking

I was wondering if anyone has good suggestions for additional workshops I could look into running at these times, life drawing sessions, networking opportunities... anything you think would be worth my time while I'm there!
I'm going with the goal of working my ass off, so gonna cram as much experience in as I possibly can.

Also if you live in the LA area and want to meet up and hang out sometime in the next few months, that'd also be cool

So I'll be at the illustration academy in kansas city, missouri starting May 30th

The constant support and love I get from this website really means a lot to me, I really appreciate every comment and +fav (though I don't respond to all of them, I look through and read each one)

I learned most of what I know about drawing and illustration from the internet, and places like Deviantart always pushed me to keep going, so thanks again it really means so much

upgraded to medium size intuos 4 from a small intuos 3
if it had lips, i would kiss it straight on them

the upgrade is very noticeable
a lot more pressure sensitivity (double!) a lot more tilt
and it comes with a bunch of little extra nibs that produce different feels
one is like an ink nib, one like a marker, one like flowy paint.

plus the side buttons now come with LCD labels so you can see what your custom buttons actually do and not forget about them like i did with past tablets.

basically, if you have the extra flow, it's worth every penny.

i love how my gecko avatar looks like he's yelling every comment i make
