Background for something I'm working on. Some of the details are going to be obscured by the character so I figured I'd post it up since I spent so much time on it

this is my first real painting in photoshop so any crits would be much appreciated!

the scene is taken from WoW, it's Zangarmarsh, a zone in the outlands.

Amazing setting! and coloring job... the only thing, since you did ask for criticism is... that i think that the lights coming from the mushrooms should give more glow and maybe give more reflection on the water..
but who am I to say eh? ;) I do love it, I wish this place was some kind of kid playground and I could take my two there ;)

Gorgeous! Looks like an inviting place; I love the warm orange lights against the really cold blues. Okay, maybe more alien than inviting... but awesome either way :nod:

i sort of gave up on it unfortunately because i stopped playing wow, and it was really just more wow fanart, which i've done waaaay too much of.
me and WoW aren't on speaking terms right now, because if it wasn't for warcraft, i would have gotten a lot more drawing done these past 2 years or so.
oh well

(our relationship will probably be rekindled and hopefully more moderated in a few months time)
(...i can't believe i talk about a video game as if it's a relationship. i think i just reached a whole new level of sadness and you were there to witness it!)
