Love the squid

I'm trying to draw a squid logo for a tshirt and came looking for inspiration (this squid somehow has to look like the shape of New Zealand too

).

I like how simple and effective this is.

This squid doesn't seem to have a celtic or cultural feel to it in my opinion, it looks more like it can be use for commercial buisinesses, sorry for being blunt.

that's okay, i like it when people are blunt.

I do see what you mean about the celtic lacking, however, he decided he didn't want the squid to be celtic, he just wanted a normal squid.

All the coolness of squid without that ammonia smell.

Last winter, several hundred giant squid beached themselves along the coastline here in Southern CA. The seagulls were mightily pleased, and dang, those suckers are pretty big.
