i'm honoured! i love all of Anne McCaffrey's books. they've been a huge inspiration to me. It's a major loss to the fantasy genre, but a life well lived. she inspired many generations of dragon lovers

I have been absent from DA for quite some time and vowed only to sort through the deviations in my message folder and comment at a later time, however, this stood out amongst all the others. Your stylization and use of color are flawless as usual and I was in no way surprised to read it is your work.

I rather like the simplistic background as it draws focus to the subject and emphasizes the emotion of the piece. Bravo... as usual!
