When you say, "Godzilla from", I hope you don't mean GZ'98, cuz that one is as equally awesome as JP, at least in my books, hehe
Great artwork! Did you print it out and post copies around town or something?
i meant the 2000 godzilla starring matthew broderick
the special effects do not hold up against the 1993 jurassic park dinosaurs is what i was talking about
the cg in jp was better than the cg used in godzilla.
Eh, I think Matthew Broderick's version is every bit as awesome and well-done as JP.. (that's what the link was a teaser for.. since GZ was coming out in summer 1998, in summer 1997 when JP2 came out, they showed the teaser to get ppl excited about GZ coming out the next summer)
Altho I do admit the *writing* has some bit wonky spots, the special effects were top-notch; and it was made by the same ppl (a producer and director duo) who did Independence Day two years before
Something to note tho- everything about the main creature in GZ'98 was CGi, but in JP, there was a *mix* of CG and live-action animatronics and models for almost every dino. So maybe that increased the realism, since that's what makes special effects "work" for some ppl.. I kno it certainly helps in various situations, if the animatronics move fluidly enough, the "effect" of them being actually there is even more realistic
But then I don't judge movies soley on special effects, if it has a good story and good characters (plus my weakness for snarky humour.. lol) then I'm pretty much sold
If I had ever seen a poster like that in MY lil odd city.. I would've squee'd and gotten all excited like whoa until I realized ppl were around me, LOL
watch the movie godzilla from 2000
and then watch jurassic park from 1993
and marvel at how much better the visuals in jurassic park are.
