day one of my "draw something everyday for 2010" resolution.

not every day is going to be finished like this, and not every day is going to be posted here... but i figured it'd be nice to start off on a good foot.

this is a yaya (grandmother) with her donkey in Crete, Greece which is where my dad is from.

It reminds me, for some reason, of some old cartoon. Like Rocky and Bullwinkle. I especially like the lack of outlines on things.
